The Old Vicarage
Built in 1860, the Old Vicarage is described as one of Ilfracombe's 'Iconic Houses' from the Victorian era. The house sits high above the picturesque harbour with stunning views across the Bristol Channel. It has nearly half an acre of walled gardens with views to the sea and the cliffs of Hillsborough and Capstone yet it is only 5 minutes walk from the town centre.
Formerly the home of Jonathan Edwards, the Olympic triple jump gold medalist and world record holder, the Old Vicarage has been restored by the present owners. The house has 6 double and 1 twin bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms and 3 family bathrooms plus there are two pull out beds that can sleep 2 persons each.
There is a large fitted family kitchen with sea views that opens out on to a garden patio with barbecue. A magnificent dining room that seats up to 18, a large Lounge with stunning views, a den and a cinema room with 50" plasma screen and blue-ray player.
There is private parking for 5 cars inside the gounds of the property with space for more if needed.
